Reading

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog, this blog is about positive and negative intent in an article. For this task we had sad and happy faces and we had to put them with either what we think a positive or negative intent, here is mine.

Thanks for looking at this blog, let me know if you agree with what I have put, bye.

Maths

Hi everyone, this blog is about maths, this is the picture,

and these are some of the questions,

Using the image above, what is the ratio between the pedal gear and sprocket?

If you were to turn the crank 9 full rotations how many revolutions would the wheel do?

If one rotation of the pedal gear moves the bike 150cm, how far will the bike travel around the track if you did 5 full rotations of the pedal gear.

Thanks for looking at this blog, let me know if you can figure out these questions, bye.

Which gear ratio would you have to pedal more as you go once around the bike track - 4:1 or 2:1, what is your reasoning?

Maths T3W1

Hi everyone, this blog is about maths. For this task we had to find out the area and perimeter of the hall and back field to figure out how much room there was for the bike track. First we did the perimeter and area of the back field without the hall, then added the hall the second time so we knew how much room we had with and without the hall for the bike track. Here is the measurements we had to work with,

Thanks for looking at this blog let me know if you like maths, bye.

Writing T3W1

Hi everyone, this blog is about Writing. For this one we had to highlight sentences the colour of the different fantastics, if you don't know what the fantastics are, go check out one of my previous blogs.

Here is some of the task:

Once upon a far away place lived a little girl who was given a very special present from

her grandmother for her eighth birthday. This present was opened with great enthusiasm

and excitement by the little girl and she tore at the wrapping paper wildly. It was

quickly revealed that the wonderful gift was a coat designed in a cape-like shape in the most

dynamic, remarkable colour the girl had ever seen. This coat was red, a bright, beautiful red

and was soft and warm to the touch. In one bold manoeuvre, the girl swept the

coat up and threw it across her back and pulled the hood up over her chocolate locks. I

don't think anyone can remember a time before the coat, but certainly since the coat, Jessica

was always known as Little Red Riding Hood.

Spring had grown slowly back into their lives and birdsong filled the silences in the air.
The sky had found its brightness, grey had turned into blue. Mother was outside in a battle with the wind trying to encourage the washing to dance on the clothesline. Her eyes watered facing the blustery day; Little Red Riding Hood could feel that something was troubling her. Mother collected the spare pegs and was blown back indoors. Her skirt whipped up into a windswept tent. Little Red Riding Hood caught her blurry stare, “Mother, are you alright?”
