Camp reflection

Hi everyone welcome back to my blog, today I'm talking about camp. I will be talking about...
What I found challenging, what I learnt, what I enjoyed and what I'm grateful for.

What I found challenging:
At camp I didn't find many things challenging. It was mostly the high ropes, it was really fun but you were relying pretty much your life on three people, and it freaks me out. But that was about all I found challenging.

What I learnt:
At camp I learnt a lot of things. I learnt how to make a stretcher from two sticks and a tarp or two sticks and two rain jackets. I also learnt how to belay, belaying is in high ropes and what you do is you have to keep the rope tight for the people that are climbing on the obstacles. Another thing I learnt how to do was how to build a raft from six sticks, four large barrels and rope.

What I enjoyed:
At camp I enjoyed doing kayaking doubles. During the whole thing we didn't fall out, but at the end we got to stand up and paddle if we wanted, and we did but my buddy fell out and I accidentally paddled away from her. Then when she tried to get back up, she tipped the boat and I fell in. I also liked doing search and rescue because someone got to hide and we had to go find them with a radio and map. When we found them we had to carry them on a stretcher for a little bit.

What I am grateful for:
I am grateful for having all the parent help, teachers and instructors that helped us on camp. And I'm also grateful for all the opportunities we get. I am grateful for all the people that helped me on camp and grateful for the people I went with.

Thanks for reading my blog and let me know if you have ever been to this camp before.
Bye.
