My family treasure

Hello welcome back,
on my blog today I will be sharing my family taonga/treasure that was past down from my great, great uncle hope you enjoy (:

My treasure is a Maori carving made out of whale bone that has been past down from my great, great uncle.
He past away 4 years ago in 2013 and he always used to wear
HUGE bone carvings and green stones. They got passed down to my koro and uncles and my aunties.
And one day hopefully I will get it.

  1. Hi Mereana,
Your family treasures sound really interesting! I was very impressed to hear a bit about your family history as well! Can you please do some more blogs please. I don't think I have a family treasure I've never asked. I don't think my family has been to war! I do have a little history in my family.
