Maths T3W1

Hi everyone, this blog is about my maths for this week. This weeks maths was problem solving, I had a buddy and this is one of the questions that we had to figure out.

There are 360 students at St Francis of Assisi School, and 95 of these students are Year 7/8, Kaupeka. Do the Kaupeka students make up more or less than ⅕ of the students at St Francis?

First we worked out what 1/5 of the school was which was 72 and then we already knew that we had 95 students in the Kaupeka hub, so the final answer was yes, the Kaupeka hub is more then 1/5 of the school.

Reading Task T3W1

Hi everyone, this blog is about my reading task. This weeks focus was on 9 different lenses that authors use in their writing. These are called Fantastics,
